Your privacy

A · YOUR ACCOUNT

When you create an account, TOILE keeps your first name, your email address and your password. The password is stored only as a hash: a one-way scramble that lets TOILE check it, never the password itself.

B · YOUR PIECES

For every piece you add, TOILE keeps the photo you took (the original), the lifted cutout made from it, and the cloth patch cut from it for drawing flats. It also keeps the piece's tags: its name, category, colour, pattern, formality and season, and any tag you correct.

C · YOUR SAVED LOOKS

TOILE keeps the looks you save: which top, bottom and shoes were pinned together, and when.

D · YOUR WISH LIST

TOILE keeps your wish list, and the suggested pieces you passed on, so Odile does not suggest them again.

E · YOUR PREFERENCES

TOILE keeps the preferences on your client card: your palette, your silhouettes, your heel height and the voice you chose for Odile.

F · STYLIST JOBS

When you ask Odile to style you, match a top, suggest pieces or read a new photo, TOILE keeps that job's input and its output (the looks, the match, the suggestions or the tags she read), so the app can show you the result.

G · WHO PROCESSES IT

Cloudflare hosts TOILE: the service that answers the app, its database, the job dispatcher and these web pages all run on Cloudflare.

Anthropic processes styling jobs. Odile runs on Claude Code on the developer's own computer, which sends Anthropic your closet's text rows (each piece's tags) and your preferences for every styling job, and, when Odile reads a new piece, that piece's photo.

Google processes data on your phone through ML Kit, which runs on the device, and through Google Play services.

H · NO ADS, NO TRACKING

TOILE shows no ads, uses no third-party analytics or tracking, and sells no data. This page sets no cookies. To run TOILE as a test, the developer reviews TOILE's own job records and the stylist computer's log line for each job (job id, kind, outcome and usage).

I · ANTHROPIC'S RETENTION

How long Anthropic keeps what it receives for a styling job, and whether it may use it to improve its models, follow the consumer terms and privacy settings of the Claude account the stylist runs on. TOILE does not control those terms and makes no promise beyond them. Anthropic explains its retention in How long do you store my data?

J · DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT

In the app, open your client card and choose Delete account. On the web, go to https://toile.style/delete-account and sign in.

Deleting your account deletes TOILE's own copies: everything in TOILE's database on Cloudflare, every piece, photo, look, wish and preference. The stylist computer keeps only a log line per job (job id, kind, outcome and usage), with none of your content. Copies Anthropic received are governed by its terms (section I).

Deleted data and photos remain in Cloudflare's database point-in-time recovery (Time Travel, which is always on) for up to 7 days, and then they are gone.
